Product Description:

Zinc-clad steel composite grounding rods are a new type of grounding product. They utilize advanced domestic horizontal continuous casting technology. Cleaned low-carbon steel cores are heated to a high temperature, while zinc ingots are melted in an industrial frequency furnace. The steel core is then rapidly passed through the molten zinc, crystallizing at the outlet to form a zinc-clad steel bimetallic composite.

This composite is then drawn into zinc-clad steel grounding rods.

With the large-scale construction of urban power infrastructure projects, grounding devices play a crucial role in safety protection, and their reliability is increasingly valued.

Using ordinary angle steel, galvanized flat steel, or building foundation steel bars as grounding electrodes results in poor corrosion resistance, thus affecting the reliability of grounding devices. Grounding resistance increases continuously with corrosion of the grounding electrode, exhibiting poor stability and a short service life (generally a few years). Annual inspection and maintenance are required, resulting in a large workload and high subsequent construction and maintenance costs. In petrochemical plants, urban power facilities, and some power plants where steel equipment is located in the grounding area, corrosion damage can occur to other buried steel structures. Domestically and internationally, cathodic protection and grounding are consistently used simultaneously. Using zinc-clad steel composite materials as grounding electrodes and lightning protection conductors, due to the thick zinc layer, can effectively prevent corrosion of the grounding electrode, thereby increasing its service life. It can also solve the cathodic protection problem for pipelines and other steel equipment.

Therefore, zinc-clad steel composite grounding electrodes can be widely used in grounding, cathodic protection, and in situations with highly corrosive soil, and can also be used as grounding materials for other buried steel structures.

Features:

1. Unique manufacturing process: Utilizing advanced domestic horizontal continuous casting technology to achieve molecular bonding between the zinc and steel layers. 2. Thick zinc coating provides excellent corrosion resistance: Service life up to 50 years, overcoming the short service life problem caused by corrosion of traditional flat and round steel grounding materials.

3. No electrochemical corrosion: Provides positive cathodic protection for equipment.

4. Simultaneously solves the problems of cathodic protection and lightning protection grounding, significantly reducing project investment and construction costs.

5. Excellent conductivity: 2.5 times the conductivity of steel core, stable electrical performance, ensuring grounding current discharge function.

6. Zinc-clad steel composite grounding electrode uses low-carbon steel as the core, possessing the strength and thermal stability of steel.

Advantages:
1. Zinc-clad steel composite grounding electrode uses special steel as the core, possessing the strength and thermal stability of steel, ensuring grounding current discharge function.

2. Zinc, as the cladding metal, has 2.5 times the conductivity of steel, offering superior conductivity.

3. Zinc, as the cladding metal, has strong corrosion resistance, greatly extending service life. 4. A zinc layer of a certain thickness can act as a sacrificial anode, protecting grounding grids, underground metal structures, and related steel equipment.

Special Function:
In many areas of the petrochemical industry, cathodic protection is required, and zinc-clad steel grounding electrodes are an excellent choice. Using zinc-clad steel composite materials as grounding electrodes and lightning protection conductors, the thick zinc layer effectively prevents corrosion of the grounding electrode, thus increasing its service life. It also solves the cathodic protection problem for pipelines and other steel equipment. Combining grounding and cathodic protection significantly reduces construction costs and is more scientific, economical, and has a longer service life than separating grounding and protection. Scope of Application:

Zinc-clad steel grounding series grounding rods and grounding wires are suitable for general natural environments as well as special environments such as humid, saline-alkali, acidic soils and chemically corrosive media. They are mainly used in the petrochemical industry, including

natural gas fields, refineries, oil storage tank areas, natural gas pipelines, coal chemical plants, phosphorus chemical plants, and other locations requiring cathodic protection for lightning protection grounding, anti-static grounding, equipment protective grounding, and working grounding.
