Applications for Soft-Temper Single-Strand Copper-Clad Steel Round Wire: Suitable for use as horizontal grounding electrodes in demanding applications—including functional, protective, lightning protection, and anti-static grounding—across both standard environments and challenging conditions such as damp, saline-alkali, or acidic soils, as well as environments containing chemically corrosive agents.

While electroplated copper-clad steel offers superior mechanical properties, continuously cast copper-clad steel excels in corrosion resistance; therefore, continuously cast copper-clad steel round wire is recommended for environments with severe corrosion where mechanical stress requirements are moderate (e.g., horizontal grounding electrodes in highly acidic soil).
